Embracing Social Media: Navigating Time and Commitment

I'm writing from a café on this Thursday. Today, I want to share a candid reflection on my journey of establishing a social media presence for my personal illustration business. While I intended to write a weekly blog post about this endeavor, I must admit that this week's tight schedule got the best of me.

As an illustrator, my days are filled with countless sketches and creative projects. Recently, I have been pouring my energy into completing the sketches for an upcoming book that I'm incredibly excited about. In the midst of this, Tuesday brought a necessary visit to the doctor for my daughter, including the dreaded shots that can disrupt a child's routine and leave parents juggling unexpected challenges.

In the whirlwind of day-to-day life, it's easy to get caught up in the immediacy of tasks and momentarily set aside commitments like maintaining a consistent social media presence. For someone like me, who thrives on productivity and constant movement, pausing to plan and organize my online presence can feel daunting.
